Fluid Logic Inc. is pleased to offer the design and manufacturing of customized descale valves, for the effective removal of scale from steel strips. In addition to steel descaling applications, valves are intended for hot and cold mill auxiliary hydraulics. Customers can choose from available valve types including 2 way, high pressure, high flow and on-off valves, along with proportional options. Materials are handled in strip, sheet, and plate forms. Pressures of up to 6,000 psi (420 bar), and flow rates ranging from 1,500 GPM to 3,000 GPM are effectively managed. Valves operate by direct solenoid and are available in size range of DIN 50 to 200.

Descale valves are designed to operate with raw water, reprocessed water, and recycled water fluids. Our new ceramic technology allows for a ceramic controlled pilot circuit, alongside hardened stainless steel internals including stainless steel seats. We utilize O-ring and BU seals, with abrasion resistant and self-lubricating properties. Valves are furnished with cartridge components, and are finished with a lifetime corrosion resistant salt bath nitride treatment.
